The governor of Amran, Faisal Jomaan said that the province of Amran has received more than 100, 000 displaced people from Saada in the past three days.

The Saudi-led coalition continue to target the province of Saada, which is considered a stronghold and the home base of Houthi forces. The coalition announced through media platforms that Saada is considered a military target and dropped leaflets urging civilians to evacuate the province.

According to locals, many people have been reported dead, while most of those who escaped lost their homes. “Those who were able to escape are considered lucky, our province has been brought to the ground, we are very bitter,” said one of Saada’s residents who was able to escape to the capital.

Jomaan said that those who sought refuge in Amran are in dire need of basic service and humanitarian assistance. “100, 000 is a very huge number, they need shelter, water, nutrition, and medical treatment, especially in these difficult circumstances."
