SITUATIONAL OVERVIEW

AN ACTIVE TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE REMAINS SLOW MOVING OVER FIJI. MEANWHILE, ANOTHER TROUGH TO THE WEST OF FIJI IS GRADUALLY MOVING TOWARDS THE GROUP. ASSOCIATED RAIN AND STRONG WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO AFFECT THE GROUP TILL FRIDAY AFTERNOON.

A FLOOD ALERT REMAINS IN FORCE FOR LOW LYING AREAS OF NADI TOWN AND DOWNSTREAM OF VOTUALEVU STATION.

VOTUALEVU: 4.14m this is 0.64m above the alert level and 0.36m below the warning level. Water is still rising.

NADI BRIDGE: 3.75m this is 0.25m above the alert level and 0.25m below the warning level. Water is still rising
