The Philippines Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) Action Plan is the United Nations and partners’ plan requiring over US$ 301 million to provide humanitarian assistance to those affected.

The Plan aims to provide targeted support to the affected people in the hardest hit regions, in support of the Government’s response to address urgent humanitarian needs over the next six months (November 2013 – May 2014).
The plan gives contacts for each appealing organisation.

The Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) released on 11 November, $25 million towards the response to Typhoon Haiyan. Detailed information about the allocations can be found here:

www.unocha.org/cerf/cerf-worldwide/where-we-work/phl-2013.

ITEMS NOT TO DONATE :

OCHA runs a database and a website — the Financial Tracking Service (FTS) — which records all humanitarian contributions, (cash, in-kind, multilateral and bilateral) to emergencies. It aims to give due credit and visibility to donors for their generosity, and also to show to all the running total of current funding and remaining resource gaps.

Please take a moment to send information about your contributions to fts@un.org or through the on-line contribution report form at http://fts.unocha.org with the following information:

• Donor name (country/organization)

• Name of recipient organization

• Contribution description

• Amount in US$ or original currency

FTS’ tables on line are updated daily.
