Somalia Consolidated Appeal 2013

As of 30 September 2013, the revised Somalia Consolidated Appeal (CAP) 2013 had received US$434.52 million (38 per cent) out of the requested $1.15 billion. This includes $29.28 million carryover from 2012.
Funding per cluster remains low ranging between 22 per cent (Multi-sector) and 40 per cent (WASH) except for enabling programmes (113%) due CHF funding against a zero CAP requirement. Additional funding is required to ensure continuity in humanitarian programming for 870,000 people in crisis and emergency, and 2.3 million people in stress phase.
