1 Oct 2013 - Heavy rains in Mayo-Danay on 17 September caused the rupture of a dam situated in Logone River at Dougui town, triggering evacuations of people. More than 800 people are affected by the floods, mostly in Bigue, Palam and Djafga. On 27 September, a second rupture occurred in Bigue, 4 km from the first breach. Almost 9,000 people were evacuated.
