Madagascar:

Election campaigning started on 24 September 2013. On 26 September 2013 a grenade detonated in front of the home of the President of the Special Electoral Court (CES) in Antananarivo. No damages or casualties were reported.

Angola:

The consequence of the severe drought suffered during the last agricultural year (2012/2013) continues to impact the southern provinces of Angola, specifically Cunene, Namibe, Benguela, Kwanza Sul, Huila and Kuando Kubango. Out of 1.8 million drought-affected people, the number of people at risk of food insecurity is estimated at about 700,000.
