Caballero said the automatic weather equipment is an equipment that automatically detects the weather situation in a certain area where it is installed.

He said the foundation has donated the equipment to all provinces and cities in the country including to the province of Isabela and the cities of Santiago, Cauayan, and Ilagan.

The foundation targets to donate at least 1,000 automatic weather stations in the country before the end of 2013 to help government in minimizing damages due to lack of exact weather situation in different parts of the country.

Caballero urged the public to visit the WPF website weather.com.ph to know the weather situation in their areas or any part of the country.

The automatic weather station automatically detects the temperature, wind velocity, rainfall volume and humidity in a certain area where the equipment is installed.
