Highlights

  • Government reports the current number of IDPs is 52,113 persons or 12,301 households.

  • The death toll has risen to 39, 6 persons still missing, 2,532 injured, and 16,560 damaged houses and public buildings

  • Government announces plans to end the emergency phase on 17 July. Beyond that, provision of emergency assistance may continue in the worst affected areas if necessary.

  • A Government Incident Command Post was established and is now based in Aceh Tengah District, the worst affected area.
