  1. India - Heavy seasonal rain has resulted in severe flooding in several areas in India. The worst affected area is Uttarakhand state where nearly 100,000 people have been evacuated and an additional 9,000 remain stranded. 127 evacuation camps have been set up in the state. There has been no request for international assistance but INGOs and local NGOs operational in India have been providing assistance to augment a massive government response. Source: Sphere India

Nepal - Continuous rain since 16 Jun has lead to heavy flooding in the western areas of Nepal, particularly Western, Mid-Western and FarWestern Regions. 44 have been killed, 15 are missing, and 118 have been injured. Over 2,500 families have been displaced and over 7,800 families have been affected. A large scale response has been mobilized by the Gov, with assistance from NGOs and the UN.   3. Philippines - Heavy seasonal rainfall has brought flooding to areas in the southern Philippines. Two people have been reported as killed and nearly 100,000 affected. ARMM is the worst affected region. Source:AHA Center

  4. Sri Lanka - Heavy rain associated with the monsoon has killed 58 - mostly fishermen, and affected nearly 2,700 across many parts of the country. Central Province is the worst affected. Source: Media, DMC of Sri Lanka 5. Marshall Islands - Drought conditions persist in the northern Marshall Islands. The Marshall Island gov finalized a US$ 4.7 million response plan.   5. Indonesia - An earthquake struck Lombok island on 22 Jun measuring 5.2M. The latest reports say that 23 were injured, nearly 5,300 houses damaged and public buildings and infrastructure were damaged. Local authorities are responding to the needs of those affected. Source: PDC, OCHA
