LRA Regional Update: Central African Republic, DR Congo and South Sudan (October - December 2012) (Quarter 4)
In 2012, LRA attacks continued to be reported in remote areas of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and the Central African Republic (CAR) with a decreasing trend in the fourth quarter (Q4) of the year, a similar pattern to 2011. Overall, there was a 24 per cent decrease in LRA attacks compared to 2011.
