In the context of supporting the Emergency Medical Services in rescuing and relieving the injured and sick Syrians, the Lebanese Red Cross received emergency medical equipment as a donation from the Qatari Red Crescent during a ceremony held at the Emergency Medical Center in Baabda attended from the Qatari Red Crescent Dr. Amer Melhem the director of disaster management and Dr. Mohammad Al Safadi the medical coordinator, and from the Lebanese Red Cross President Sheikh Sami Al Dahdah, the head of the EMS Ms. Rosy Bouloss, the director Mr. George Kettaneh, and a number of paramedics. The equipments provided are about 10 complete sets of emergency medical equipments that are used in ambulances and centers, and have been distributed directly to the centers that are keeping pace with the Syrian crisis in transporting, rescuing, and relieving the sick and injured on the Lebanese - Syrian border. These centers are: Hermel (two sets), Baalbek, Tripoli, Bcharreh, Halba, Aley, Kabr Shmoon, Falougha, and Bolonia.
