Digging of 60 safe drinking water wells started in Jawzjan province

As of four upcoming months three thousand families will gain access to safe drinking water in Shabarghan, the capital city of Jawzjan.

According to Mohammad Usaf, Head of Rural Rehabilitation and Development Director of that province this project include: digging of 60 safe drinking water wells, construction of 750-m retaining wall and cleaning of 96-km irrigation canal at a cost of AFN 31 million from the budget of German Agro Action organization. This project will complete in upcoming four months and will provide the necessary facilities to the rural people of the mentioned area.
