OCHA in Somalia

A fully‐fledged OCHA Somalia office was established in 2003 following the creation of a UN Coordination Unit in 1999. OCHA’s funding, coordination and information units provide services and support to coordination activities. Of OCHA Somalia’s 75 staff members, 31 are based in Somalia, including nine international staff. The remaining staff are located in the Nairobi Support Office in Kenya.
