- SITUATION
It has been reported by NATO that there are helicopters flying over Misurata with the Red Cross/Red Crescent logo. These helicopters are reportedly being used to spot for indiscriminate indirect fired into the city. NATO strongly advised that organizations notify NATO command of any air operations through the appropriate channels. Any unidentified helicopter flying over Misurata will be considered a legitimate target.
Ships are reported to be entering Misurata harbour, however, security remains a concern.
