In response to the Great East Japan Earthquake, on Monday, May 9, the Government of the Republic of Poland informed that the government will provide relief money of 1 million Zloty (about 30 million yen).

From Poland, letters of sympathy were sent from H.E. Mr. Bronislaw Komorowski, President of the Republic of Poland, H.E. Mr. Donald Tusk, Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, H.E. Mr. Radoslaw Sikorski, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland and others.

On Thursday, March 17, President Bronislaw Komorowski, Prime Minister Donald Tusk, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Radoslaw Sikorski wrote a message in a condolence book at the Embassy of Japan in Poland.
