  • In week 6, 2022 IDSR reporting timeliness was at 81% and completeness was at 90% while timeliness was at 91% and completeness was 95% for EWARN sites

  • Hepatitis E virus cases continue to be reported in Bentiu IDP settlement with, 1,965 cases and 14 deaths (CFR 0.71%) reported since week 1, 2019

  • Confirmed measles outbreak in Torit county, Eastern Equatoria state.

  • Confirmed measles & Rubella outbreak in Doro Refugee camp- Maban county,
    Upper Nile state.

  • Of the 20 alerts in week 6, 2022; malaria (22), AWD (25), ARI (14), measles (4) and ABD (12) were the most frequent alerts

  • 46 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 this week, making total of 16,897 confirmed cases and 137 deaths ( CFR of 0.81%) in South Sudan

  • Alerts of pertussis, meningitis, yellow fever, and VHF reported and are being investigated respectively in Cubiet, Maridi, Ikotos, and Torit
