Rainy season situation in Colombia

Up to November 20th, it is estimated that 260,682 people have been affected by the winter wave that scourge of Colombia. According to reports from the National Hurricane Center (CNH), in the Caribbean region the probability of the formation of a suspected tropical cyclone area has been reduced. Last November 25th a 40% probability of occurrence and affectation on the departments of La Guajira, Bolivar, Atlántico and Magdalena, as the storm passed it dropped to 10%. This does not eliminate the possibility of a rainfall increase.

Although official reports from the Institute of Hydrology, Meteorology and Environmental Studies (IDEAM) indicate that there are still 10 days to the end of the hurricanes season, some areas of the country continue to manifest the need for humanitarian assistance.
