Sector in the Rohingya refugee response in Cox’s Bazar. Majedul is among many national staff who are playing a critical role in the humanitarian COVID-19 response and monsoon preparedness.
As part of the Logistics Sector, Majedul has led trainings on setting up Mobile Storage Units (MSU) in Bangla to reach a wider audience and facilitated several MSU set-up efforts to support partners, including in the establishment of the COVID-19 Logistics Hub in Sea Palace, and the UNHCR warehouse in Uttarana. Majedul has also helped IRC and Medair set up their isolation and health care units, among other initiatives. As part of monsoon preparedness activities, Majedul has guided partners on how they can take precautions and protect their cargo and valuable assets such as MSUs and generators to prevent damage from heavy rains and wind.
