Direct Response UNICEF in partnership with Ukrainian Foundation for Public Health supported 12 GBV mobile teams (MT) in Eastern Ukraine. MTs have reached 1879 beneficiaries (out of them 121 children) affected by violence living along the contact line in Donetsk and Luhansk (GCA). Around 50 % of all reported cases (adults and children) are related mainly to the domestic violence, 13 % - to COVID-19.

UNICEF supported National toll-free Child Helpline managed by La Strada in providing online consultations to children, caregivers and youth. During the reporting period, 3696 beneficiaries received consultations out of which 75 % are girls/women. Out of all calls, 23% were related to violence against children; 21% are related to mental health and psycho-social wellbeing of children, including a few cases of self-harm and suicidal attempts;16% are related to relationships in the family; and 1% calls were from children who have alcohol or/and drug abuse. Moreover, the Helpline is now linked to the Hotline for Online Legal Aid provided by the Free Legal Aid Office for further referral of cases that require legal protection of children subjected to violence. Both helplines are available nationwide.

UNICEF in partnership with Polish Humanitarian Action and Terre Des Hommes has started a new project in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, government-controlled area. The main focus of the project is provision of PSS to children and their caregivers, as well as case management services to mine/ERW victims (children and their parents/caregivers). Project also includes capacity building on PSS, inclusion and sensitization for community professionals and positive parenting to parents and/or caregivers. The projects will be active until January 2021.

People in need continued providing PSS activities by 4 mobile teams in Yasynuvatskyi, Bachmutskiy and Maryinskyi raions (including Toretsk and Avdiivka, Donetska Oblast), Popasnianskiy raion (Luganska obl.)
Psychologists covered 111 beneficiaries: out of them 83% females, 17% males; 86% adults, 14% children.
Mobile teams of psychologists have provided 80 individual consultations for 48 beneficiaries and 12 group consultations for 63 beneficiaries.

The PSS 24/7 psychological hotline received 660 calls (350 requests from men (53%) and 310 women (47%)).
SOS Children's Villages has been providing long-term case management support services (which includes psychological, socio-pedagogical and material support) for 326 vulnerable families (750 children) from Severodonetsk, Starobelsk and Stanica Luganska.

Save the children engaged 45 parents (6m; 39f) in the sessions of the Parenting without Violence Save the Children common approach in Krasnohorivka and Mariinka, the main objectives are to prevent children from experience violence in the home through working with parents and communities. The activities are implemented together with SCI partner, Slavic Heart. 170 people took part in COVID-19 awareness raising sessions in the Community Centre in Krasnohorivka, there were 115 children (56b., 59g.), 55 adults (3m; 52f).

The Case Management Unit opened 31 protection cases in Luhansk Oblast.
