  2. Locust Presence in Pakistan. Breeding in Baluchistan is coming to an end as vegetation is drying out and locust is moving to Sindh, Southern Punjab and towards summer breeding areas. Immature swarms are moving towards Thar and Cholistan from many areas of Baluchistan. Adult groups have been found in major part of Baluchistan. No hopper groups have been reported from any area of Punjab. Widespread mating / egg laying has been reported in Nagarparker. Locust infestation has largely declined. Only adult groups are present along the Pakistan border in Sistan Balochistan and hopper groups in South Khorasan. Keeping in view the climatic and soil conditions, locust prone districts were identified in all provinces. Anti-Locust Survey and Control Operation in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders is in progress, with presence of Locust in following districts / areas:-
