Myanmar Red Cross Society (MRCS) and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) have been producing bilingual weekly updates (English/Myanmar) highlighting MRCS’s COVID-19 activities supported by its nation-wide branches and community-based Red Cross volunteers. The weekly updates, produced from 3 February 2020 till 23 June 2020, provide valuable insights on activities MRCS has rolled out in all 17 states and regions of Myanmar in the initial months of the COVID-19 response. In addition, the updates capture the life-saving and life-changing work of the Myanmar Red Cross volunteers on the ground making a difference working with and through the communities.
