1. KEY HIGHLIGHTS
a. Number of Alerts reported during the week: 2 Two alerts reported from Yambio since the last situation report; the alerts were discarded following investigation as they did not meet case definition.
b. IOM confirms discontinuation of screening at three Points of Entry in Yei River State by January 2020, due to escalation of security situation.
c. UNHCR procures ambulances, vehicles, and EVD kits for MOH/ State Task Force (STF) in Yambio and Yei.
d. EVD preparedness planning for 2020 continues following recommendations developed during the Strategic Planning workshop held in early December 2019.
