HIGHLIGHTS

  • Improving Health Access and Scaling up Responsiveness: 731 normal deliveries were attended by skilled birth attendants.

146,030 new malaria cases were reported among children under 5 years old with a case fatality rate of 2.6%.

  • Prevent, detect and respond to epidemic prone disease outbreaks:

In July 2019, 64% epidemic prone disease alerts were verified and responded to within 48 hours.

  • Quality Essential Clinical Health Services

A total of 85 new Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) cases were treated in stabilization centres.

Although 229 Facility provides MHPSS outpatient management of common mental disorders (anxiety, depression) and referral to support mechanisms but only 2 facilities reported this month.

230 Facility provides clinical management of rape, including post-exposure prophylaxis and emergency contraception, and referral but only 1 facility reported this month.

16 SGBV survivors received clinical management of rape (CMR) services.

  • Improving Resilience- Mental Health Response:

5,696 beneficiaries received Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MPHSS) in conflict affected areas.
