GOAL is dedicated to ensuring that the poorest of the poor and those affected by humanitarian crises have access to the fundamental needs and rights of life including, but not limited to, food, water, shelter, medical attention and primary education.

GOAL has responded to almost every major natural and man-made disaster in the past 32 years and is currently operational in +10 countries. Since its inception, GOAL has sent 1,500 volunteers (GOALies) to work in the Developing World, alongside several thousand local staff and has spent close to 000 million on the delivery of aid to the poor in almost 50 countries. It has managed this on an exceptionally low administration cost base.

Listed below are examples of just some of our current programmes.

NDONESIA - Earthquake response

GOAL has responded to the recent earthquakes in Sumatra, Indonesia, by distributing food and water and non-food items including blankets, kitchen materials and kerosene cooker's to approximately 1,500 people who have been most severely affected by this tragedy.

KENYA - helping displaced families

Following on from the post-election violence in Kenya in 2008, when families were displaced and their homes and livelihoods destroyed, GOAL responded by distributing shelter kits, incorporating roofing and house construction materials, to 1,200 families, ensuring that they could live in a secure and safe home.
