Highlights

• A total of 250 898 consultations were recorded in all the 14 governorates in week 31.

• The leading causes of morbidity among all age groups were influenza-like illnesses (43.9%) and acute diarrhea (38.2%).

• 48 suspected measles cases were reported during week 31. The blood specimens from 39 cases were collected and tested at the reference laboratory in Damascus. The laboratory result showed all negative for measles.

• In total, two acute flaccid paralysis cases each in Aleppo and Homs were reported. The stool samples from the cases were collected and transported to the polio reference laboratory in Damascus. The both samples tested were negative for poliomyelitis.
