  • Influenza/ILI activity in Solomon Islands has returned to baseline level.

  • Influenza/ILI activity in Wallis and Futuna has returned to baseline level. The alert has been removed from the map.   • Dengue in Tuvalu: 137 DLI cases and 51 NS1Ag/IgM positive cases were reported as of 5 May 2019. Dengue serotype 1 (DENV-1) has been identified in samples tested by a reference laboratory. – Source: personal communication with country officials on 9 and 10 May 2019.

  • Five (5) imported cases of dengue (1 case of DENV1 and 4 cases of dengue serotype unknown) with travel history to Fiji were reported by New Zealand ESR (Institute of Environmental Science and Research Ltd) for the period 4/05/19 to 10/05/2019 - Seven (7) imported case of dengue (6 cases of DENV-1 and 1 case of DENV-2) with travel history to Fiji were reported by Queensland Health (notifiable conditions data) for the period 01/01/2019 – 05/05/2019 available online.
