During the month of February 2019, the humanitarian community tracked 95,757 IDPs displacements across Syria. The largest IDPs movements of 44,474 was reportedly arrived to locations in Idleb governorate. The great majority (31,577 IDPs movements) was displaced from locations within Idleb governorate. These displacements were mainly due to the intensified shelling, airstrikes and fighting between the GoS forces and the NSAGs along the Demilitarized Zone in east Idleb and northern Hama countryside. Exchange of fire and the GoS forces shelling to west Aleppo countryside caused displacement of about 6,055 IDPs within Aleppo Governorate. In total, 17,356 IDPs arrived to locations in Aleppo governorate of which majority to Afrin and northern Aleppo. About 18,157 IDPs movements was reported from Hama to locations in Idleb and Aleppo governorates dues to intensified shellings and airstrikes. The active fighting between SDF backed by US led coalition against ISIL groups in the Al Baghouz pocket resulted displacement of about 29,414 IDPs from Deir-ez-Zor to Al-Hasakeh governorate.
