The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has distributed more than 400 food parcels to the families affected by rain torrents in the district of Al-Sharqat in Salahuddin governorate.

The IRCS`s relief teams in Salahddine have entered the villages that have been hit by the rain torrents in the district of Sharqat and distributed 400 food parcels to the affected families after conducting an assessment to determine the numbers of the families and their needs, and the health teams have provided psychosocial support for them.

The IRCS is seeking through the aid of food and relief to alleviate the suffering of families whose areas are affected by the rain and help them to overcome the challenges of this difficult stage.
