Bolivia (update)
On 30 November 2018, the Bolivia Civil Defense updated its report regarding the severe weather situation in Tiquipaya and Quillacollo Municipalities, Cochabamba Department where 650 families were affected in 15 communities (an increase of 200 families since yesterday’s report). The most affected communities were: Falsuri, Falsuri Moró, Chocaya, Mosoj Rancho, Okosuru, Molle Molle, Bella Vista, Pucara, Potrero, Marquina, Liriuni, Caluyo, San Miguel, and Pucara. In addition, an orange alert has been declared for the Departments of Santa Cruz, Cochabamba, and La Paz due to strong winds and heavy rain over the weekend. Volcano
Guatemala
On 26 November 2018, the Guatemala National Coordination for Disaster Reduction (CONRED) reported that El Fuego Volcano generated moderate explosions, with ash columns at 5,000 meters above sea level dispersing towards the south and north. Ash falls were registered in San Juan Alotenango, San Miguel Dueñas (Sacatepequez Department), Antigua Guatemala City, and several municipalities south of the Department of Guatemala.
