Bolivia
On 29 October 2018, the Bolivia Civil Defense indicated that the Government of La Paz declared an orange alert for the following 10 neighborhoods in the Department of La Paz: Obrajes, Del Periodista, La Ventilla, Següencoma Bajo, Següencoma Alto, June 24, Los Sergeants, El Prado Urbanization, Obrajes Garden, Amor de Dios, and Aranjuez due to a partial collapse of the bridge where the Choqueyapu river passes. Elsewhere, in the departments of Santa Cruz, Cochabamba, and Potosi several homes and streets flooded due to heavy rain. Paraguay (Update)
On 29 October 2018, the Paraguay Agency Information (IP) published an updated report regarding the severe weather situation in the county; at least 2,100 families (an increase of 1,300 families since Friday, 26 October report) were affected due to heavy rain and an overflow of the Paraguay river in Asuncion city. Currently, 65 shelters are providing assistance to affected people. The report is available in Spanish at: Agencia de Informacion.

Volcano
Guatemala
On 26 October 2018, the Guatemala National Coordination for Disaster Reduction (CONRED) reported that El Fuego Volcano generated 14-15 moderate explosions with ash columns at 4,200 meters above sea level dispersing toward the west and southwest. Ash particles were reported in the following communities in the Chimaltenango Department: Panimache I and II, Morelia, Santa Sofia, Palo Verde, and Sangre de Cristo.
