Burundi

30 September 2018: The Burundian government ordered the suspension of all non-governmental organisation (NGO) activity across the country for three months or until the agencies comply with a law requiring staff ethnicity quotas, new administration fees and more stringent controls on spending. Central African Republic

07 September 2018: In Bria town, Haute-Kotto province, over 400 people protested outside of the Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission (MINUSCA) base carrying bodies of civilians killed the previous day by anti-Balaka and Seleka militias. MINUSCA reported two grenades were thrown towards the base by the protesters, while the locals claim MINUSCA fired tear gas. No casualties were reported. Source: ACLED and Centrafrique-Presse
