The Government will take all measures to make sure that people from the flood - hit areas will have in the shortest time possible the necessary conditions to re-start the normal life until the coming of winter, PM Calin Popescu - Tariceanu has stated

Today, PM Calin Popescu - Tariceanu has paid a visit to Botosani and Neamt counties, Radauti - Prut and Tamaseni communes, where he checked the way the latest effects of floods have been removed.

The Head of the Executive has appreciated the way the local authorities acted to aid the flood - hit persons and evacuate the population from the endangered areas.

'The local authorities have been prompter in their reaction, compared to 2005 - 2006 floods time. Their reaction has been much poised compared to situation, I am sure that the problem of the reconstruction of the flood hit houses will be solved in a shorter time than during the previous years', Prime Minister has stated, thanking everybody involved in these efforts.

As a sign of appreciating these efforts, the Government has offered praiseworthy diplomas to the representatives of some companies that contributed with equipments during the flooding. PM  Calin Popescu - Tariceanu has appealed to all public institutions to raise funds to help the people from the flood - hit areas.

The delegation led by the PM Calin Popescu - Tariceanu met in the flood- hit areas with representatives of central and local authorities tasked with the technical evaluation of the flood- hit houses and the social investigations for the aid - granting.
