Serbia leading responsible policy of solidarity with refugees

Novi Sad, 7 Aug 2018 – First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic stated today in Novi Sad that a total of 615 housing solutions for refugees will be provided in the territory of the city, within the framework of the Regional Housing Programme.

Dacic emphasized this at the ceremony of laying the foundation stone for the construction of 276 apartments for refugee families from Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia within the fifth subproject of the Regional Housing Project in Serbia totaling 19,877.30 square metres and a value of about €6.4 million.

The works should be completed in November 2019.

He explained that 552 housing units, 30 village houses, 13 prefabricated houses, as well as 20 building materials packages will be provided in the territory of Novi Sad within the Regional Housing Programme.
