I. SITUATION OVERVIEW

20 July 2018

20 July 2018 At 3:00 AM, the center of Tropical Storm "INDAY" was estimated based on all available data at 995 km East Northeast of Basco, Batanes (22.5 °N, 131.3 °E) with maximum sustained winds of 85 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 105 km/h, moving Northwest at 15 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting Luzon.

II. EFFECTS

A. Incidents Monitored (TAB A)

  1. A total of nineteen (19) incidents (landslide, flooding, strong winds, soil erosion, coastal erosion, collapsed structure) were monitored in Region III, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, VI, and CAR.

B. Affected Population (TAB B)

  • A total of 43,471 families / 174,180 persons were affected in 195 barangays in Regions III, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, VI, and NCR. Of which, a total of 33,040 families / 157,115 persons are being served inside and outside evacuation centers:

    • Inside 32 ECs: 715 families / 2,600 persons

    • Outside ECs: 36,325 families / 154,515 persons

C. Declaration of State of Calamity

  1. On 16 July 2018, Brgy. Bimpal, Lamut, lfugao issued Resolution No. 14-2018 declaring the said Barangay under State of Calamity.

D. Casualties

None reported.
