  • WFP received in March generous contributions from the governments of the European Union (EUR 0.8 million/ US$ 0.98 million), Switzerland (CHF 2.5 million/ US$ 2.66 million), and Turkey (US$ 0.1 million) in support of relief food and nutrition assistance for emergency response to Rakhine crisis and other most urgent needs countrywide.

  • WFP’s funding shortfall amounted to US$ 25.5 million to cover all food assistance needs of IDPs and other most vulnerable populations through September 2018.
