The Fourth Expert Consultation on Human
Rights Fieldwork was convened at OHCHR Headquarters on 3-4 July 2008. Participants
reviewed, discussed and made recommendations to enhance human rights fieldwork
in three critical areas:
1. The promotion and defence of economic,
social, and cultural rights.
2. Partnerships for criminal justice.
3. Partnerships for responses to terrorism.
