Belgrade, 8 Dec 2017 – The government of Serbia adopted at today's session the decision to send to the Republic of Albania financial assistance of €100,000 for the rehabilitation of the consequences of the floods that recently hit this country.

Due to the difficult humanitarian situation, the government of Serbia will, in addition to its financial resources, also send assistance in the goods.

The government decided to send a one-time financial aid to the Republic of Cuba in the amount of €50,000 for the elimination of the consequences of the catastrophic Hurricane "Irma", which caused great material damage and brought a lot of human lives.

At the meeting, the decision was made on the abolition of visas for citizens of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau in order to allow tourists from this country easier access to Serbia and create a more favourable business environment for potential investors. This decision created another precondition for improving bilateral relations with this country.

In the attachment, you can read the letter from the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabic sent to Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania Edi Rama over the difficult humanitarian situation that arose after the recent floods in that country.
