April 4 (Reuters) - Five U.S. Marines were killed near al-Asad in Anbar province in western Iraq on Sunday when their seven-tonne truck rolled over in a flash flood, the military said late on Monday. Another U.S. soldier was killed after his patrol came under fire in Hit, also in Anbar province.

The following are the latest figures for military deaths in Iraq since the U.S.-led invasion in March 2003, in line with the most recent information from the U.S. military:
