In March 2017, a total of 7,393 families (approximately 36,867 persons) were displaced in Mindanao. Of these, at least 2,613 families (approximately 13,067 persons) were displaced due to armed conflict, 691 families (approximately 3,455 persons) were displaced due to clan feud, 1,290 families (approximately 6,450 persons) were displaced due to crimes and violence and 2,779 families (approximately 13,895 persons) were displaced due to flooding.

By the end of March 2017, 4,301 families (approximately 21,507 persons) have returned to their places of origin while 3,072 families (approximately 15,360) remain displaced.
