Highlights
MIGRATION: 2,886 Cuban migrants are in Costa Rica distributed in 18 shelters. These migrants have a temporary visa to transit through Costa Rica, while the border with Nicaragua remains closed.
RAINS & FLOODS: Around 2,000 people are affected by floods in several regions of Paraguay. Assistance to those affected is difficult in some isolated communities.
COLD WAVE: Guatemala prepares for the cold season and has set up 81 emergency shelters. Authorities expect to receive about 10,000 people in these shelters.
