KRCS offers mobile clinic to Lebanese Red Cross for displaced Syrians

BEIRUT, — Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) on Wedesday offered a mobile clinic to the Lebanese Red Cross to serve the displaced Syrians in Lebanon. In this context, charge d’affaires at the Embassy of the State of Kuwait to Lebanon Mohammed Al-Waqayan told Kuwait News Agency following the handover of the mobile clinic, 111 that this initiative comes in the framework of the continuous cooperation between the two humanitarian bodies to help the displaced Syrians.He praised the great humanitarian efforts exerted by two sides to provide humanitarian relief and services for the displaced.For his part, Secretary General of the Lebanese Red Cross George Katana told that Kuwait was the first country to support Lebanon since 2006 and today it is the largest supporter of displaced Syrians in different countries.He praised coordination and cooperation between the Lebanese Red Cross and the KRCS in the relief efforts, which reflect the depth and interdependence of the Lebanese-Kuwaiti ties, stressing that Lebanon and its people will never forget the prominent role played by the KRCS after the Israeli aggression thanks to the directives of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
