As efforts are underway to reach a stable agreement between the Government and the opposition in South Sudan, refugees continue to cross the border into neighbouring countries.

Since mid-December, more than 370,000 South Sudanese have arrived in Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia and Sudan.

Assessments are ongoing or have recently taken place in Sudan and Uganda to inform the response from WFP and the wider humanitarian community.

WFP requires USD 76 million for the next six months to meet the needs of all refugees in Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia and Sudan.
