HIGHLIGHTS

• Some 5,600 people have fled their homes in Blue Nile over the past three weeks as a result of fighting between the SAF and SPLM-N and food insecurity.

• At least 38 people were killed and 6,000 displaced following armed clashes between Hamar and Ma'aliya tribesmen in Um Deibut, West Kordofan.

• The international NGO ARC reports that 10,000 people displaced by fighting between the Salamat and Misseriya in November arrived in Bulbul Timbisco, South Darfur.

• HAC says some 2,500 people have returned to the Um Dukhun area in Central Darfur from other parts of Darfur and refugee camps in Chad
