Highlights

• On 4 November, the African Inland Church (AIC) started the repatriation of an estimated 2,500 South Sudanese from Kosti, White Nile State to South Sudan.

• Between 3 October and 2 November, 20 suspected cases of yellow fever were reported with seven deaths – a case fatality rate of 35 per cent, MoH and WHO report.

• On 31 October, AUHIP invited Government of Sudan and the SPLM-N for talks in Addis Ababa on 4-5 November 2013 to finalise agreement on polio-vaccination in SPLM-North areas.

• UNHAS to resume flights to Kulbus and Selea in West Darfur.
