FLOODING

Aid agencies assessed almost 82,000 people affected by floods to be in need of humanitarian assistance in several areas across the country. This was substantially lower than last year, when 260,000 were affected by the end of September. During the rainy season in South Sudan, over 60 per cent of roads become impassable.
