Stabilization Centre

SAACID’s Stabilization Centre (SC) for SAM children with medical complications saw its first patient on June 22nd. In July the SC admitted 34 children, with 14 being direct admissions and 20 cases as transfers from outpatient therapeutic programmes (OTPs). So far 24 children have been cured of medical complications and returned to OTPs or home.
