More than 780,000 people, roughly 17% of the country’s population are living in areas controlled by Séléka (“alliance”) such as, Bamingui, Batangafo, Bambari, Basse Kotto, Bria, Ippy, Kabo, Kaga Bandoro, Kouango and Sibut.
