Key issues

Since the escalation began at least 20 Palestinians, including at least ten civilians, and three Israeli civilians have been killed. Approximately 250 Palestinians and some 60 Israelis were injured, the large majority of whom were civilians.

The uninterrupted waves of airstrikes and indiscriminate rocket fire have triggered widespread fear among the civilian populations in Gaza and Israel, particularly among children.

40 percent of the essential drugs items and 55 percent of essential consumables are out of stock in Gaza.

Damage to civilian property in Gaza and Israel – more than 150 homes in Gaza were damaged, including 12 severely.
