Reference Guide II - Normative decisions of key governing bodies of funds, programmes and specialized agencies of the United Nations System in humanitarian assistance
This second Reference Guide, made possible with the financial support of the Swiss Government, focuses on the intergovernmental decisions guiding the humanitarian work of the UN entities in the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC). It captures how decisions of the respective intergovernmental bodies have evolved over the years and have contributed to the overall normative framework on humanitarian affairs. This product was designed to be used by both humanitarian professionals - in the field and elsewhere - and Member States. It provides easy access to and analysis of the latest intergovernmental decisions to support interactions with various stakeholders.
