Humanitarian access in parts of CAR is frequently hampered by insecurity mainly consisting of attacks against civilians and aid workers (47%), looting (41%) and fighting (9%). It has also been hindered by the multiplication of hot spots in many regions.

The Prefecture of Ouham, Ouham Pende, Nana Gribizi and Ouaka continue to be regions where security is more volatile with a fierce impact on the protection of civilians and humanitarian workers. 20 out of the 32 reported incidents occurred in these prefectures.
